Object Invasion (also sometimes referred to as Object Invasion (2024), and abbreviated as OI2024 and OI24) is a reboot of the original series by FusionAnimations. It premiered on September 20, 2024.

After a previously cancelled iteration in 2016, Object Invasion has returned for a new series!
18 contestants are brought to Invasion Peninsula to compete on a brand new reality show! Competing in challenges... rivaling against each other... it's going to be a long year for them.

Original Concepts and Contestants[]
According to a video he made back in 2023, it claimed that there were going to be some of the original Object Invasion characters on the show. This could have meant that some of the contestants originally from the Scratch series, could have gained their old looks with new forms. It also stated that new villains would have been part of these series, as well indicating that Mace could return with new minions. We could have seen some further backlore to Jelly Bean's original job, working for Mace, trying to capture IPad and his fellow contestants. The prize is possibly still a billion dollars.
In this season, Breath Mint, Lego, Glasses, Windows 7, and Water were cut with their own reasons of why. Skittle was remade to Candy due to copyright. Ethan additionally isn't one of the competitors, but has been hinted by FusionAnimations to be "around" somewhere in the reboot.[1] Dollar was also cut as a contestant, but made a cameo in "BLINDED" and was properly reintroduced as a possible overarching character as of "FURY OF A THOUSAND SUNS".

- According to FusionAnimations in other parts of social media, the reason of the Reloaded contestants being cut from this iteration is because the current cast is already big enough to explore.
- Some specific reasons have been mentioned and are listed below:
- Breath Mint was cut due to being way too similar to Notebook Paper in personality, being the silly/chaotic character.
- Glasses and Water were both cut due to not having any special characteristics to write.
- Windows 7 and Lego currently have none until they are given one in the future.

- According to the "Designing an OBJECT INVASION Background" livestream, this series was originally going the be named as just "Invasion", but was later changed on as the current title was "iconic" and didn't make any sense overall to change it, as said by Fusion.
- Despite the change, FusionAnimations still refers to this iteration as this name several times.
- This title actually originated from an obscure and cancelled Object Invasion reboot known by that name.
- As revealed on September 1, 2024; this series was set to be released at a future date, as The Adventures of Steve Season 3 is on hiatus[2], and more episodes of the Tiny Taco Tales reboot series are TBD.[3]
- Not only that, but a major project that Fusion worked on the past 12 months was The Daily Object Show: Evil Never Dies[4], and therefore needed some time off his channel, and also focus on BFDIA/TPOT as an animator for JnJ.[5]
- On September 9th, it was revealed that the first episode of the series would come out on September 14th.[6]
- It got pushed back to September 20 due to some adjustments.[7]
- During a production stream for "BLINDED", Fusion confirmed that Mace would appear at some point in the reboot.[citation needed]

- Every single contestant (and iPad) in the 2024 reboot have a unique voice actor.
- Several of the voice actors reprise their roles from Object Invasion (Reloaded), including:
- TAFFYMARZI voices Cakey, whom she first voiced in "Evade From the Crowd".
- AnimatedGalaxy voices Notebook Paper, whom he first voiced in "Chilled to the Bone".
- YellowAngiru voices Elastic Band after previously voicing her in "Grapefruitify: Dead Body Prank Challenge". He also previously voiced Water starting from "Snow More Puns".
- Elijah Barker voices Grapefruit after previously voicing him in "Never the Same".
- FusionAnimations continues to voice OJ.
- Jacob Fairclough voices Tuna, whom they previously voiced starting in "Don't Strike, Spare My Life!".
- Wuggolo now voices Popsicle after previously voicing Phone from "Never the Same" to "Snow More Puns" and Dollar in "Evade From the Crowd".
- Braden Whiteside now voices Ball after previously voicing Glasses in "The Crate Outdoors."

- iPad's plush description reveals several pretty large pieces of information about this iteration of the show:
- Object Invasion is being aired by the network known as SnowFlix. This company owns the bus that transported the contestants, as well as Sign and Ball's underground base. (S.F. HQ)
- The ongoing season is not the first season of Object Invasion in-universe, as iPad is stated to have "hosted season after season" of the show.
- This is the first and currently the only Object Invasion season to not have intros for the episodes, as they got replaced by title cards.
- FusionAnimations later stated during an animation stream that there would likely not be an intro present in the whole series.
- This series is known to have a lot of references to the video game Fortnite, including a whole challenge themed after one of its game-modes.
- This series is also known to feature several content related to space and the color green, as seen in the space anomalies, various props and graphic designs.
- The quote seen in the alternate poster ("I REMEMBER IT - LIKE TIMES BEEN FROZEN STILL.") is taken from part of the lyrics on the song "Young", by Chris Coral.
- The song is heard in "FOR THE LOVE OF MY GAME", and it's instrumental version several times in the next episodes.
- The teaser trailer just includes a forest on a moving background, and the intro music used from "Forged Together" and the unreleased Episode 9, with a new logo and a date sometime in September 2024 for the first episode.[8]
